What Is CSLab? What Services Do You Provide?
CSLab's focus is primarily research and departmental computing infrastructure, not supporting course assignments. Information about the department's teaching computing facility, CDF, is available at the CDF web site, http://www.cdf.toronto.edu. The department also has an administrative intranet, at https://dcsweb.cs.toronto.edu, for which CSLab logins and password are used.
For example CSLab is responsible for the network infrastructure, file- and application servers, some administered desktop machines, email and basic mailing list services (i.e. some_name@cs.toronto.edu), printing and, but not limited to, personal and research websites. In short, CSLab makes sure that you can do your research within the Department of Computer Science without technical disruptions and to your best convenience.
